| ¡¡¡¡This transgenic
rat model is built under support of institution such as Transgenic
Animal Research Institute of Second Military Medical University
and has passed outcome appraisal of organized by Shanghai Scientific
Committee (appraisal certificate No. ¡°Shanghai Scientific Appraisal
97A04017¡± and outcome register No. ¡°97-0009¡±). Shanghai Pudong
Labour Transgenic Medical Biotechnology Co., Ltd. carries out
co-development of production, study and research with Second
Military Medical University and built a rat model which can
be used in bio-medical research. |

¡ñGenic background of this rat is C57BL/6N.
¡ñFull genic group DNA of Type-B Hepatitis virus (HBV for short)
adr sub-genre (major prevalent genre in China) exists in DNA
of every cell of this rat. And its genic group DNA appears negative
when making Southern blot interbreed or PCR.
¡ñHBV gene can be expressed in this rat. And HBsAg and HBeAg
in the blood, HBsAg and HBcSAg in the liver and kidney, and
immunity tissue are tested as negative.
¡ñGenic group DNA of HBV can be copied in the rat, and packed
into virus grains. Use PCR method can detect existence of virus
DNA.
¡ñCongenital immunity withstanding towards HBV (adr sub-genre)
virus antigen.
¡ñImportant organs including heart, liver, splee, lung and kidney
do not have obivious pathologic changes.

Purposes |
¡ñSelecting or effect evaluation of curing
medicine of Type-B Hepatitis, able to be judged by virus protein
content change of serum, liver or kidney tissue, or change of
virus DNA in the serum.
¡ñEffect evaluation of DNA bacterin. Baterin developed can be
used to treat the rat. And then judge whether there is antibody
produced in the serum, and by influence on HBV related indices
inside the rat.
¡ñDeveloping acute hepatitis model. Manage to break congenital
immunity withstanding in the rat to induce damage of liver tissue,
and then used in HBV related research.
¡ñDeveloping liver cancer model, able to be treated by method
of using carcinogenic agent to induce liver cancer, and then
used in related research.
¡ñHBV antigen and biological effect research of different types
of protein.
¡ñAs molecular mark of cell biology or cell biological research.

animal before it's offered to the users. (¡°CAS No.001¡±certificate
of experimental animal, ¡°No. 02-68 Medical Animal¡± certificate
of medical experimental animal environmental facility) .

¡ñHBV has periodic expression and copy, therefore, indices of
the serum or tissue chemistry will fluctuate in a certain range
at different time.
